David Axelrod is a Los Angeles musician, arranger and producer. He had already established himself as a much sought after producer at Capitol Records before he released his debut solo album 'Song Of Innocence' in 1968. His first two albums 'Song Of Innocence' and 'Songs Of Experience' were inspired by the poetry collections of William Blake. The music is a fusion of orchestral rock, jazz, R n'B and pop and "Holy Thursday" is the much sampled highlight on the debut.
