Don't just start a new band... start a new genre! That is exactly what these Icelandic musicians did. Although the genre of a quartet of organs may be new, their instruments of choice are not new in any way. They use antique, discarded and downright cheap organs and synths... along with the odd farfisa and hammond as well. It's their love of old and salvaged keyboards that helps them create a unique sound. The addition of a drummer actually makes them a five piece... although an organ quartet does make up the balance. "123 Forever" is from their second album 'Pólýfónía.' The robotic vocals recall Kraftwerk but the real drums keep that relationship more distant. Why hadn't anyone thought of this before?
