Xerophonics

After the Bicycle Samba song yesterday, which featured music using bicycles, I decided to keep with that theme of unconventional instrumentation. Today we have a band called 'Xerophonics' who released an album of music created by photocopiers. The album is 'Copying Machine Music' and has 13 tracks... all named after the copy machine used. It has much more credibility than someone just recording a copier in their lunch hour or a field recording assignment. The songs created can easily be construed as actual songs and some of the results are quite exceptional. Best filed under ambient industrial rather than dance music.
