Montreal band 'Arcade Fire' have been the darling of critics and indie music fans for three albums now. First was 'Funeral' and that was followed up with the impressive second album 'Neon Bible' and now 'The Suburbs', which this song is from. When you release an album as good as 'Funeral' on debut, the pressure of trying to emulate or even better that, could easily get too much for a lot of bands.... but Arcade Fire have managed to get very close on both occasions. While they are extremely popular, their songs are a little bit complex (and too good) for commercial radio. This song "We Used To Wait" is a good example of their captivating and compelling sound. The video is evidence of how great they are live, as well.... so let's hope they make it down here at some stage.
