Boston Alt Rock band 'Buffalo Tom' released their third album "Let Me Come Over" in 1992 and it was a powerful statement that brought them a much larger audience. It was more polished than the previous albums but still had that alternative coolness. They even made it to New Zealand not long after and I was lucky enough to see them at the Powerstation. "Taillights Fade" was a single from "Let Me Come Over" and was my pick from an album that was consistently good. It is melodic and intense at the same time and has a great vocal performance from Bill Janovitz. One of the great songs from the 90's. They have just recently reformed... so I'm hoping they make it back to this part of the world.
