This would have to be John Lennon's greatest solo artist moment.... according to me, anyway. It's from the album 'Plastic Ono Band' released in 1970. He was in an emotional state of mind at the time, it seems. This was his first album since the Beatles had broken up and there was some anger in him, for whatever reason, but it resulted in a work of art. You can just about hear him spitting out the lyrics with so much feeling. This was a man who had lived this song.
