LCD Soundsystem is basically James Murphy and guests. He has been recording under that name since 2002 and has just released a third album this year. "I Can Change" is from the new album 'This Is Happening' and is also the latest single. It is more on the synth pop/dance side of the LCD Soundsystem sound, which can sometimes have a punk edge to their electronic dance music. He brings all his singing skills out on this song and the pulsating synth soundtrack would make Gary Numan proud. A modern classic that also could have been a hit in 1980.
