Connan Mockasin is originally from Wellington three piece band Connan and the Mockasins. He has been based in the UK for the last few years. He toured the country recently to promote his new album "Please Turn Me Into The Snat" and the surreal "It's Choade, My Dear" is a single from that album. To describe the music as quirky would be an understatement.... However, it's not pretentious art rock or even self indulgent tinkering. It's so hard to classify as a genre... so it's better to just enjoy it for what it is. Weird and wonderful!!
