Flying Nun band Snapper released "Buddy" in 1988 on their self titled EP. The sound of Snapper is quite straightforward really.... start with some shared vocals by Peter Gutteridge and Christine Voice, add some distorted organ, then add some distorted guitar and then add some drums.... combine it all with some fuzz and how about some more layers of distortion. The result is a melodic drone masterpiece like "Buddy".
