Promises - "Baby It's You"

This is another lost classic we play on Bitter FM.. due to it not being played by commercial radio so much. It was a huge hit at the time but it seems to have out lasted most of the radio friendly fodder of the time. There was something about the video that interested me at the time, I wonder what it was..... Promises consisted of three siblings from Canada but were based in LA at the time. They were definitely a one hit wonder, at least in NZ anyway, where "Baby It's You" was a number one for five weeks. There was a rumour going around that the female singer had died not long after, but that's all it was, a rumour.... she is still alive and well today.
The song has a chorus that most bands would kill for... So see below what the fuss was about or take a trip down mammary lane.
